Tesla and SpaceX chief Elon Musk’s latest post on the microblogging site is baffling netizens. The billionaire’s latest tweet about a new drug called ‘Regretamine’, which went online a few hours ago, has gone viral. In his tweet, Musk wrote that a new drug called ‘Regretamine’ is about to make its debut soon,adding that popping one would be good to get rid of regret.
Now, his latest tweet has baffled 48.3 million of his followers who could not decide whether the entrepreneur was joking or was serious about his words.

Musk’s tweet has raked in close to 2.5 lakh likes, over 21,000 retweets. It has also sparked a meme fest on the microblogging platform. Several users wondered whether Musk, co-founder of Neuralink, a company which manufactures ‘implantable brain-machine interfaces,’ might have come up with a new drug, while others admitted that they did not fully grasp what the billionaire was tweeting about. However, they speculated that it could be a joke.
The Tesla chief’s tweet unleashed several versions of Regretamine memes, which also touched upon some of Musk’s fortune-making tweets. Several of the Regretamine memes referred to Elon Musk’s past record of fortune-making tweets, as Twitterati came up with their creative best.
One user used a child’s photo and expression and compared it to Musk’s tweet.
Another creative Tweeperson used Tesla’s famous astronaut in a EV car photo and wrote that popping ‘Regretamine’ will have the same space effect.
One more user made a meme about cryptocurrency Dogecoin, for which the billionaire is reportedly facing scrutiny from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). His tweet earlier had helped in raising the value of the cryptocurrency.
A fourth jokingly posted a stats and stocks graph photo to poke fun at the effect this tweet would have on the stocks of ‘Regretamine’, had it really existed.
Tesla CEO and SpaceX boss and currently one of the world’s richest man, Elon Musk recently claimed that one of his startups has wired a monkey to play video games. The monkey has wires going into its brain which enables it the animal to play video games, Tesla boss Musk has said, adding that the monkey is happy.
