At today’s event, the company has also announced to unveil its MIUI 12.5 operating system. Both the Mi 11 smartphone and MIUI 12.5 were launched in China in December last year. Today’e event will mark their global debut.

What to expect
Xiaomi Mi 11 series may comprise of the regular
Mi 11 and the
Mi 11 Pro smartphones. Mi 11 Pro is expected to come with 120x zoom camera. It is said to be equipped with a 50MP primary camera at the back.
The handset is expected to feature a large display with 6.81-inch 2K WQHD screen having 1440×3200 pixel resolution. It is said to be equipped with a 4,970mAh battery. The smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor.
Xiaomi claims that MIUI 12.5 is lighter, faster and more economical as compared to the MIUI 12. The company has also said that it is designed to reduce memory usage by 20% and power consumption by 25%.
Xiaomi MIUI 12.5 features multiple privacy features like Xiaomi App Store privacy, improved browser privacy protection capabilities and more. MIUI 12.5 also brings collaboration between
mobile phones and laptops.
